This standard defines how to load and interpret UK gas network pipe asset datasets shared as interoperable shapefile, GeoJSON, or GeoPackage formats. It aligns with Ofgem’s Data Best Practice Guidelines and covers 13 data attributes.

Null values indicate non-applicable data. Network companies may suppress or redact data for quality or security reasons.

Our Annual Environmental Report (AER) contains energy Consumption by postcode, estimated consumptions compared to actual consumptions, smart meter data, impact of weather on consumption. Volume of biomethane, hydrogen and natural gas in the network.
Energy consumption insights help WWU to identify customer consumption trends, relationships between consumption and other external factors, and allow us to forecast energy demand and develop tools and technologies to support interpretation of the data.
Analysing low-carbon emitting sources within the gas network provides insight into the different methods and equipment used to reduce carbon emissions through investments in sustainable energy production here at WWU.
