What we’re looking for? 

We’re looking for a Project Manager on a 36-monthFixed Term Contract to support and project manage the delivery of the Physical Security Enhancements across Wales & West Utilities (WWU). This would involve managing new sites, maintaining the physical security across our existing sites as well as our Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sites and other operational sites (AGIs, PRS etc). 

The remaining works will include the design and installation of physical securityenhancements, at existing gas assets, depots, stores, head office and theexisting Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) Sites.  

A key focus of the role will also be reporting and updating on progress to theProgramme Manager and will be expected to will run their own governancedelivery meetings, reporting progress, issues, risks and milestones to theProgramme Governance. 

We’ll trust you to: 

  • Produce delivery plans and understand the impacts and interdependencies  

  • Ensure Security standards are met and signed off  

  • Budget responsibility, budget management and financial reporting for workstream  

  • Deliver project on time and on budget 

  • Liaise with HR, Communications, Finance and Operational colleagues to ensure delivery of programme 

  • Project Management experience or Prince2 qualification, preferably with a Civils or Construction background  

  • NEC4 and/or JCT Contract experience  

  • Negotiating skills  

  • Working knowledge of CDM
