What we’re looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join our busy, forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drive and ambition, who is keen to contribute to a high-performing team and support its continued growth.

The successful candidate will be confident working both independently and collaboratively, with a strong track record of following processes, managing priorities effectively, and working to deadlines. You will be adaptable and resilient, able to respond to changing circumstances, and committed to maintaining the highest professional standards at all times.

You’ll be joining a team that values continuous improvement, personal development, and making the most of individual strengths. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting the health and wellbeing of our colleagues through regular visits to our depots.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Undertake health spirometry, audiology, skin assessment and Hand Arm Vibration assessments under indirect supervision of an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor
  • Undertake vision, colour vision, height, weight, blood pressure and pulse assessments
  • Undertake Display Screen Equipment, lone worker and night worker assessments
  • Generate clear, concise and accurate outcome reports
  • Report any abnormal findings or causes for concern 
  • Ensure care, correct use and calibration of equipment
  • Travel to site as required

You’ll need to have:

  • Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician
  • Level 3 Certificate for Occupational Health Technicians or willingness to work towards this
  • Experience in using Microsoft packages 
  • Experience in using Occupational Health specific systems
  • A full and valid UK driving license
