What we’re looking for?
As WWU continues its journey towards compliance with NIS Regulations and further, the Cyber Resilience team, working with other stakeholders from across the business, will undertake a significant amount of change, initiative and project work.
The Project Manager role will be key to driving these undertakings to completion, bringing the work in on time, to scope and within budget.
This role is expected to work with all necessary stakeholders, and the scope of this role covers all WWU sites, including offices, depots and all industrial sites.
We’ll trust you to:

Lead, manage and drive projects from the initial idea through to its successful delivery.

Deliver the projects’ objectives to the sponsor and the organisation as a whole.

Produce related reporting as appropriate.

Monitor project dependencies and overall integration.

Develop project adoption plans to develop service transition plans.
-
Have experience of working in IT or Cyber Resilience change management function.

A strong stakeholder management, with an ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.

A highly adaptable and productive individual who can effectively communicate, think critically, work independently, and adjust to varying workload demands.
You’ll need to have:
Essential:
-
Relevant practitioner level qualification required. Preferred project management certification qualifications to include PMP or PRINCE2 or relevant

Experience with Project Management or change management tools (examples include Planner, Teams, DevOps, Jira, SharePoint etc)

Relevant degree or experience in similar role
-
Critical thinking and able to work dynamically.
Desirable:
-
Experience within a Cyber Resilience setting
-
Change Management, such as Prosci ADKAR® qualification
-
Knowledge of the regulations relating to the supply of Critical National Infrastructure
-
Degree or relevant experience.
Due to the enhanced safety critical nature of this role, you will also be required to carry out a National Security Vetting Security Clearance check - this will be carried out by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV). You can find out more details of the process on the Government website here:
