⚠️ Gas Supply Update – Kingsbridge, Devon

Our teams have visited over 90% of the 4,600 affected properties today, with over 100 engineers working across the area.

Please make every effort to be at home when our engineers call.
We cannot restore your gas supply until we’ve safely isolated it first. The quicker we gain access, the sooner we can start restoring gas in your area.

Our engineers will keep working late tonight and from first thing tomorrow. They carry ID badges—verify by calling 0800 316 0478.

Huge thanks for your patience and support.

Gas leak, Foundry Lane, Chippenham

Martyn Pallant, Wales & West Utilities Network Service Manager said:

Our work to restore supplies to customers in the area has made steady progress. It is a challenging operation because we have to carefully balance keeping enough pressure in the system while we bring properties back into supply.

Our engineers worked late into yesterday evening continuing to visit properties as we phased customers back into supply however some customers may not come back into supply until this morning. We appreciate the inconvenience this may cause and thank customers for their continued patience. If customers can be at home when we call that will help with us restoring their supply more promptly.

We will provide a further update later this morning but should anyone have any queries in the meantime, please contact us on 0800 912 2999 or by remailing enquiries@wwutilities.co.uk  Alternatively, you can contact us on X @WWUtilities or Facebook.com/wwutilities.
