What we’re looking for?

The Process Safety & Assurance (PSA) team is seeking an Process Safety Inspector to lead and manage key elements of our safety and assurance framework.


This role will be responsible for overseeing the Audit Programme, Incident Investigations, the management of WWU’s Safety Case, Independent Inspections, and the collection, collation, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of asset safety and integrity indicators.

 

The primary focus of the Asset Officer (Downstream) is to ensure the safety and integrity of the network by monitoring performance, assessing quality of workmanship, and delivering insightful reports that support continuous improvement.

 

We’ll trust you to:

Ø  Monitor, analyse and report key asset safety and integrity indicators

Ø  Preparation, undertake and monitor annual asset audits

Ø  Conduct Incident Investigation

Ø  Support the business and other stakeholders on interventions and audits (planned and unplanned) undertaken by external bodies / enforcers

You’ll need to have:

·       The ability to work independently on key accountabilities and personal projects alongside collaborating within a team

·       A solution driven attitude with an innovative and forward-thinking mindset to solve problems

·       Operational and technical experience alongside a thorough understanding of WWU process and procedures

·       Analytical skills with a good level of understanding of databases and management information reports

·       The ability to compile professional, accurate and informative reports and to present to senior management / high level meetings

·       Numerate with good written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent  organisational and administration skills

·       A high standard of keyboard skills and a working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications

·       The ability to demonstrate our core behaviours of teamwork, customer service, pride and  energy
