Ben Saltmarsh - Head of Wales, National Energy Action (NEA)
Ben is Head of Wales for National Energy Action (NEA), the national fuel poverty charity. He leads NEA Cymru’s advocacy and engagement priorities, working with key partners and stakeholders to see that everyone can afford to keep warm and safe at home.
Ben is chair of the Fuel Poverty Coalition Cymru, provides the secretariat for the Senedd Cross Party Group on Fuel Poverty and Energy Efficiency, and leads the Wales Fuel Poverty Forums. He has a strong commitment to supporting consumers in vulnerable circumstances and is a member of several external panels and advisory groups.
Ben has previously worked in a variety of related roles, including directly advising low-income and indebted households and training and upskilling community-facing staff.
