Independent Stakeholder Group
Purpose
Our Independent Stakeholder Group (ISG), continues its role challenging our stakeholder engagement planning and delivery. We found real value in this approach as we planned for this current price control period, so continued to evolve its purpose. This is rooted in our commitment to making sure key decisions take account of customer and stakeholder feedback and best reflect their needs.
The role of our ISG includes:
- Challenging us to respond to strategic business opportunities and future energy sector risks
- Evaluating engagement robustness to make sure it reflects best practice
- Encouraging us to deliver better customer and stakeholder outcomes by pushing our Business Plan commitments
Members
Our group is chaired by Peter Haigh, a highly experienced business leader in the regulated UK Energy Market. Peter has held leadership positions in E.ON, Elexon and is formerly the Managing Director of Bristol Energy.
To best represent the interests of consumers across Wales and the south west of England, Peter is joined by two other members. Together they bring expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, safeguarding vulnerable customers, research, innovation and strategy development.
