Tavistock gas upgrade completes

Wales & West Utilities has completed its essential work to upgrade the gas network in the Plymouth Road area of Tavistock. |

The work was vital to ensuring gas continues to flow safely and reliably to homes and businesses across the area, helping to keep people warm for decades to come. The gas emergency and pipeline service liaised with Devon County Council to plan the project, and traffic management was used. Wales & West Utilities Natalie Raphael managed this gas pipe upgrade work and said: “We’d like to thank the local community for bearing with us whilst we completed this essential work. “While most of the gas network is underground and out of sight, it plays a central role in the daily lives of people across the area.
